Toasty.

February 23, 2006

Once upon a time, there was a toaster called Toasty. Toasty lived in Breadland. He was a pretty-boy toaster; and also the prince of Breadland
His parents were old, and dying so they wanted the prince to marry so he could be a King; but since Toasty was a pretty-boy he thought no one was good enough for him.

One day while Toasty was brushing his…metal, and flirting with his reflection his parents interrupted him.
“Toasty, we’re interrupting you,” said his Mum, Mrs Toast. So, he was interrupted. He didn’t know how to deal with that. So he went on a walk.
He kept walking until he was no longer in Breadland. He got lost…But he kept walking because his Mum really hurt his feelings. He found a big sign with neon lights that said “Bathroomland”. Whoa, he didn’t know how to deal with THAT either. He walked into Bathroomland it was very loud, until they noticed a toaster was in there land. It got really quiet and Toasty felt insecure. He kept walking though because he didn’t want to go back to a horrible place where people were interrupted.

He was walking for a long time until he found a tall building-type-thing, which was the sink. He threw his cord into the sink &used it as a rope. When he was there he saw the most beautiful thing he could ever imagine.

Her eyes glistened in the bathroom light, and her hair was a beautiful blue and white. She was in fact, a toothbrush.

Her name was Toothy. And Toasty was in love.

Toothy’s Dad, Mr Toothy, saw the way Toasty was looking at his daughter, and he told Toasty to stay away from Bathroomland. Or else he’ll chop his cord off.

He didn’t know how to deal with that.

He went back home, to Breadland. When he got there his parents asked him where he went. He told them about Toothy. And his parents said no. Toasty cried and cried for days and days, until he finally went back to Bathroomland. He and Toothy ran away together into Loungeroomland; which was a beautiful place where anybody could be with whoever they wanted. No discrimination there. There was TV’s and wooden spoons together in that place. Their parents never found out.

And they lived happily ever after…

The end.
